The World Economic Forum starts in Switzerland tomorrow. Their stated purpose is as follows: “The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional and industry agendas.” Issues of global proportions will be considered such as trade, poverty, political corruption, clean water, global warming, etc.
The important theme of the five-day Forum is “Shaping the Global Agenda: The Shifting Power Equation”. What value do you think this large scale meeting has? What impact should Christians have in such issues? Does anyone know much about this meeting?
