Best Coffee in Austin

JP’s Java has the best coffee I have found in Austin. No other coffee shop in town grinds and brews per cup. Consider their process:

Our coffee is shipped to us twice weekly from our roaster, Zoka Coffee Roaster & Tea in Seattle. It is brewed and served between days 3 to 6, which is when the roasted coffee is peaking in it’s flavor as the oils are being released. Our coffee is brewed in an Urn at the ideal temperature for the blend. It is filtered through a cloth filter that holds the water just long enough to absorb the peak flavor of the ground beans. We stir the blend during brewing for even distribution and giving the brew the effect of a French Press. We use approximately 30% more coffee in our brew than most others, approximately one pound for every fourteen cups of coffee. Our coffee is shipped to us twice weekly from our roaster, Zoka Coffee & Tea in Seattle. No wonder it’s so good!
