Mitch Albom's Commencement Address
This Sunday I preached a sermon on Heaven and interacted quite a bit with Mitch Albom’s Five People You Meet in Heaven. Today Amazon released an electronic kindle download of his newest book, newer than For One More Day. Its a commencement address given at his nephew’s graduation called Commencement Speech To His Nephew’s Graduating Class: May 30, 2008, Nice France. Though Mitch’s views of heaven are far from heavenly, his earthly actions are to be commended. All proceeds will go to a Detroit-based charity for the homeless.

Mark Driscoll has written a series of booklets called A Book You Will Actually Read. The one on Church Leadership is a gem–concise, biblical, informative. We ordered a bunch for our leaders and will distribute them at our next leadership training.
